All loot is spawned at the time the mob spawns. Pickpocket (and I would assume begging) both take from this pool of loot. Any item not flagged "Magic" is able to be pick pocketed afaik. You can pickpocket a coldain head form a coldain wolfmaster. While it is a rarity, i am sure they are capable of dropping 2 belts.

Makes it real fun in Rathe mtns.... See a druid kiting giants? Chase it around and pick pocket all the pp's ;)

Theres a rumor going around that VI has stated that they 'will not take action against players (who identify themselves) participating on message boards about cheating/hacking/exploiting EQ'

I really dont think they will either since they cant prove im using a macro if i make it right. I still would NOT post my char name/server name and anything specific leading to my character though because:

If i go 'yah my name is Xrkjhf and i play on 7th and i use MQ' then i'd bet you $5 and a cookie that they do a log check on my character for anything resembling a macro and/or follow me around for awhile.

I don't so much believe that they would ban you for posting, but it wouldn't be a stretch to think that they might keep an eye on your account. Them knowing you post here, plus any oddities (losing stuff while zoning / afk macroing) could be damning. Just my 2cp worth.

Try this

Post by Draekz » Sat Nov 09, 2002 8:23 pm

Code: Select all

sub main
:loop
/if n $char(ability,"Beg")<200 { /doability Beg
}else /if n $char(ability,"Beg")>=200 { /goto :camp
}
/goto :loop
/return

:camp

/sit
/camp desktop
/unload

/return
Although the code above isnt wrong..it would be more efficient to do this..else your char will be wasting time on the petty skill :P

Once it hits 200 why not just have ur guy log out to the desktop..

Not sure if this code is exactly right as i've been away for about a month or so..but should do what it needs to do, even with minor errors (unless perl wrecked the code)

Take care

should be using

Code: Select all

$char(skill,"Beg")
instead of

Code: Select all

$char(ability,"Beg")
ability tells you the ability button it's on (for /doability) and skill tells you the skill level.

If you don't share my perception. Then keep your view to your self, and post the answer for this person.
I agree, however, be carefull or you will get a nasty PM from a Mod. I did, after he deleted my post, hense the low post count, I've been quiet since, flex that Mod. muscle and silence the posters.

How dare we suggest that people try to learn anything.

Yes, if you have a rogue, and you pickpocket with hinm, it will reduce the amount of loot on the mob. As for 2 belts, it happens. I've had bats with 4 wings on them before. :)

Ever been in a battle past about level 15 and had your split be 1cp with a rogue in group? He's why you got 1cp, regardless of what he tells you about not PPing. I have a rogue...and in a given battle he can PP at least 3 times. Dervishes will rat you out...btw.

Happy slaughtering,
