/shrug, my guilds still doing just fine. Sure a few have left for WoW, and some have left for EQ2. But, there's an eager batch of apps right behind them filling in their shoes. Just like Starship Troopers, more meat for the grinder.. All that, and we haven't had to reduce ourselves to stealth commando tactics like bribing members of competing guilds to defect and app to us with empty promises and assurances that phat lewt is rotting every day just waiting for them.
All in all, this is the best time I've had in EQ in about 2 years. I have only one OoW spell so far, and it doesn't bother me in the least since I'm a lazy fuck

. Most of our competing guilds have all but dissolved in the mess that was GoD, and a lot of content is now fair game. It's nice not having to race all over Norrath just to get a shot at a mob anymore. Minor bugs aside, EQ is still a pretty decent game when compared to the competition. The next gen games look nice, but I'm taking my time before committing to either, as every game that was supposed to be an EQ killer up until this point has failed due to shitty gameplay or shitty stability or lack of content/updates to said content
