REQUEST: Collect names from /who list and send tell

Hey somebody gave me a good idea of using direct marketing to sell some items, and for the most part it has worked. However it takes a lot of name collecting.

I am looking for a macro that does this:

types /who all [race] [level] [class] [guild] [etc]
and collects the names on on a notepad.

Then it would send out to everybody on the notepad with that message. The replies would then get logged into a separate notepad, so that we who will be itnerested in the product.

A little direct marketing never hurt anybody :) Besides im providing a valuable service by selling my stuff to people in need.

That has got to be the worst use of macrosquest ever. Unfortunately it would work. Some people just cant pass up a bargain if confronted with it. Of course youd go right onto MY ignore list but if somebody else buys your gear then who can blame you. Just dont expect to make to many friends.

point is, that if people start using mq to spam players are going to HATE it.

When players get pissed-- verant will be forced to stop spam bots.

Worst of all would be a wood-elf cybor bot. err, im starting to like that idea.

Insert money, click off breastplate and send hot hot cbor tells for the next 20 mins.

Let him do it, lets see he does a who and sends out tons of tells per second, hmm thats a banning waiting to happen and if someone does that to me /petition /report /ignore

Yes that would actually be not so hard to do with a turbo macro. My only problem though is that people whom eat spam, make spam, or look like spam, should be shot...

So let that idea die please, now ...

I Agree people like you should be shot, but now keep in mind that SoE reads these boards if they find any mass spammers being reported then they will notice MQ was involved and ..

About the only productive use I could see for this macro is flooding 1000 people with every spawn name in your current zone and its attached information.

Getting 450 petitions that your hacking would be a pretty funny way to go,.

Dont do it though or ill eat you.. alive.
