Im confused about how I am supposed to stop using macros. When i use /endmacro for example on a spelltraining macro that I got from the macro depot for my druid, it unhooks MQ from EQ it seems. To get it running again I have to log out of EQ and MQ and reset then change the ini file for MQ to 0 on all setting again, it always changes filtermacro = 0 to a 2. What is the proper way to stop using a macro but allow MQ to still run to run another macro in the same EQ session.
Thanks

Salutations,
use /endmacro to end macros that are running in game, to end a macro in a macro you should use /return at the end of sub main or just /endmacro... /endmacro is what you should use... dunno whats happening wrong there.

Heya man ... in the spell training macro I believe there is a line like this "/filter macros none". If you are using a macro that does this, then when you do an "/endmacro" you need to turn the filter back on like this "/filter macros all". If you don't, it would appear that MacroQuest is not responding properly .. although it would be. Let me know if that helps.

Salutations,
You're welcome.
You know, it'd be some simple code to make it a paypal $2.00 a month to use forums... I mean... :p
also, neither me nor tux get donations for helping out, Plazoo gets all the donations for actually coding this proggy

9x will make MQ hang at times when you end a macro either by /endm.. or by starting another macro to kick the old one out.
Just like tabbing out of EQ can break MQ
Just like MQ can spiraticly freeze for no reason
Just like MQ requires perl to be installed and seems to break more without perl...
And people ask why I hate 2k.. Is it envy?.. NO.. its because its the only OS anyone can code for and its lame for gaming =/

A minor 'bug' I have noticed is: when a /endmacro is used from the command line is seems to clear the keyboard buffer. Its not a big issue unless you are running from a mob, /endmacro prior to zoning, then all of a sudden you stop running and die. What I do is after I /endmacro I repress the 'up arrow' to re-run . The way I look at it
Any macro ending you can walk away from, is a good macro ending.
