For god sake, RaidDruid and Advbot are lightyears ahead of this bot macro!
Cause it shows up in the rss feed? /shrugSlackro wrote:Then why the fuck are you reading this thread?outlander wrote:for those saying wow great this is working saves me from having to learn XYZ.

Advbot = Caster Macro..outlander wrote:Because I'm trying to impart some knowledge those less informed or too lazy to realize what they are missing.

While those are all fine macros, they fail to surpass genbot in their ability to Control the bot. It is also easier to have 1 macro that works for all of the melee characters than to set up 4 separate macros. Genbot is also easy to use and comes with a very user friendly description on the commands and how it can be used.Monk MonkHelper

see the thing for me is i dont WANT my bots to surpass the ability of genbot.JimJohnson wrote:Monk MonkHelperFixxer wrote: I haven't tried RaidDruid, but it sure doesn't sound very useful for doing melee (Monk, rogue, warrior, Bard) functions that operate on commands...

ALL of those will far surpase the ability of genbot.. and if you actually read the threads on them they are extreamly easy to use.

Your just being lazy.. Its going to be ALOT more work in the feature to keep genbot updated then updating 6 updated macros. If you wouldnt limit yourself to ONE macro your performance would dramaticly increase. Yes I started with Genbot moved on because it didnt do what needed to be done per class. Advbot is best caster macro hands down. Faster then Genbot, Updated, easier to configure if you have over a 2nd grade reading level. Basically Stop going back in time and move forward. If Grimjack came back again and put out a new Genbot I might look at it but I really doubt it could surpase the quality of Individual macros.Frank25 wrote:see the thing for me is i dont WANT my bots to surpass the ability of genbot.JimJohnson wrote:Monk MonkHelperFixxer wrote: I haven't tried RaidDruid, but it sure doesn't sound very useful for doing melee (Monk, rogue, warrior, Bard) functions that operate on commands...

It's simple, it's fast and it's almost undetectable because 90% of the automation is in response to MY typed commands.
I.e not selfplaying which gives away bots.
And the way i set up my bots for the past 1.5 years almost is based on genbot.
redoing them all with new macros, which means multiple different commands for the same thing is not something i WANT to do.
I can do it, but why should i use 6 different macros when 1 can do it all and works
Erm, excuse me mister smartass.JimJohnson wrote:

Only good thing about genbot was the shortcuts that let you fully automate a group... You can do that with combination of macros and blow your current set up away.
