So OK, I just got banned for doing AFK XP, not that I am complaining, I definatally got my money's worth :), But I am going to start 3 boxing and wondering a few things. Once my account gets reactivated I am assuming they will watch me a little closer? Can they get a processs list of things running on my computer? I am done with the AFK bit, but would be nice to be able to use some of the other things like map and /stick /twist so I can 3 box bard, druid, and Mage.

So just wondering, from what I am seeing SOE is becoming more agravated with MQ and banning people like me (sorry, won't happen again) but what can they tell about an account that is just sitting there not doing anything?

I am wondering why all of these dumb people keep posting "I AFK MACROED AND GOT CAUGHT" on the forums that clearly show AFK is a flameable offense, and was never recommended. Clearly the opposite.

Short bus users AFK macro.

I can't find it ATM, but I remember a post by one of the Devs that said that he almost never plays EQ anymore, just does AFK macroing. That is why I don't mind posting it, I know it isn't popular ATM, but everyone here are cheaters, who is to say your way is better than mine? I only use what I find on these boards, no FH I don't even want to /warp because I respect the Dev's wishes that thier program not be used in that way. I had a subscription with redguides for all of about 10 minutes till I found them reselling MQ. I didn't agree with what they were doing as it was specifically against all the posts here. So whether you are doing AFK foraging, farming, XP, or just using the map feature remember we are all in this together :)

Hmmm...as for checking processes...

I would guess that no, SOE could not (legally), without your permission. It's too close to actually looking at the files. BUT...if you were to, for some reason, click yes on the window that pops when a character CC's (which is normally blocked by MQ for likely this exact reason), then SOE could do a full check on your .EXEs running, and see that you were running ole uncle 3PP.

Cause having constantly displayed buff timers is the same as ghost killing raid mobs in zones you shouldn't even have access to. After all, we're all cheaters here, who are we to say which is wrong and which is right.

This site, these boards, have had a long standing view of AFK MACROS ARE BAD. I really don't care which dev said he only afk macros these days. So what if he warps too, does it make it right for everyone? Just cause he does doesn't mean it's supported here. Actually read the boards, i'm sure you'll see AFK macroing is frowned upon and no one here really gives a shit if you get banned for doing it.

Without complete honesty, I can't expect to get to get the information I desire. I probably could have written the post ina way that wouldn't have been so offensive to you, but I didn't. I don't make excuses to you or to GM's when I talk with them. I find that being honest and open gets me more than secretive and guarded. Nothin here but an open book, even if you don't want to read it :)

Meh. Sorry, I tend to go apeshit when I read yet another "fuck you fucking fucker fuck die" post, whether I say anything about it or not. I'll return to my silence now.

Well, I don't care how much this guy thinks we are all cheaters for using MQ2.

He used MQ2 in a stupid way and paid the price. I don't care how much he tries to rationalize his usage of MQ2.

I doubt he will find much sympathy from anyone.

I dont see how this post is negative at all, i even found it positive myself, he explain he ve been banned for using afk macro, then say he wont do it anymore, and ask a simple question.

If there was 3 post like this per day am sure lots of afk macroer would be scared and would calm down.

Did he came here to claim wtf he been banned for afk macroing, and how could he do to not be caught? Flame ok, but flame when it s deserved.
