Dont know if any one else has been caught lately. I dont abuse the use of mq , Other morning i was on my bard chant kiting in hoh Running in circles. Had managed to make about 4 aa's so i would say about 5 hours worth of kiting. Get up run to bathroom to take a shower came back and had died. figured hmm strange any way logged back in looted corpse started to kite again . leave cpu to get dressed come back im at log in screen. figure wth ! log back in and see i have been rolled back to before i had the aa's (again still Oblivious to what happened) proceed to go back to kiting . Gm sends me a tell using 3rd party pgms etc is against eula , and i was rolled back and now warned . of course i played the idiot card and was like what chanting is illegal etc . all i noticed before i had me placed at login screen was that my target kept disapearing . Gm mentioned that he had been sending me tells for about 1/2 hours thats bs i didnt recieve 1 tell from him told him last tell i had was about 2 hours ago and then i closed my chat window so i could concentrate on running for my life .
I would suggest any one who use's mq to assist with gaining exp etc or afking keep a close eye on what happens as u do it whatch for warping mobs etc .
Now im affraid to use mq well at least to chant kite any way .
Any one know if many others have been getting cuaght ?

A macro must be full of security and with all in it done as if you werent macroing.
If you got caught, it s because you bring attention on you. You been petitionned until a GM took care of you.
the funny part:
Get up run to bathroom to take a shower came back and had died.
leave cpu to get dressed come back im at log in screen.
hehehe, I doupt you get petitionned and caught for 2 little afk but for real afk kitting night or day long kitting.
Server merge will kick the ass of many afk macroer who really do it a way they deserve to be ass kicked.

"Don't abuse" but you don't know exactly how long you had been kiting, only how much exp you made in that time. YEAH, REALLY SUBTLE THERE DUDE, YOU'RE TOTALLY AWESOME.

I lose track of time sometimes...
But then again I don't afk chant kite in hoh.
I mean, damn, come on, they know where the bards set up for this shit. They know how to tell.
If you do something so fucktarded as run an out-of-the-box chant macro and go afk, you deserve what you get.

Like i said wasnt afk .. just for a few minutes . and wasnt running an out of box chant mac . actually only need a simple target macro . What with Mq2Twist and Mq2Moveutils .. Thats what made it so bizaare . yes it was about a total of 5 hours i was using circle and twist . but that wasnt the issue, was just wondering if soe was starting to crack down on mq users or if , so had gotten better in detecting mq ! When i was chant kiting i was the only one in the zone for the total time . except for a few instances when a druid was kiting in gy . no one came close to where i was .

Or you were stupid about it.
I mean, damn, come on, they know where the bards set up for this shit. They know how to tell.
There are only so many places that a bard can do this for exp. It can become obvious fast.
Also...if you were running in the exact same path those five hours, that could do it. Running within a few locs of the exact same path every time might set off a flag.

GMs are all up over the morons doing ghosting and are now cracking down like they use to do in HHK with ppl using the corner to cheat on bards.
Using any kind of afk macros now and/or warping are just begging to get banned/warned/suspended/GM slap on wrist. Watch your back and don't get in peoples ways while using macros is best way to keep yourself safe.
Things the Gm are looking for is just blatant disregard for the game ghosting, afk macro, whatever, I am still amazed the 4 druids chilling in broodlands havnt been banned yet. Just don't abuse shit and you should be safe but leaving your comp while your chars play is just begging to get you in trouble now.

Here's a tip:
1) AFK Macroing without built in protections is retarded.
2) The GM sent you tells. He has to.
3) If you're going to AFK, use an instance.
4) Considering all the heat for MQ2 right now, using it while not at the keys is use at your own risk.
5) Dumbass.

Fags like you give MQ2 a bad name. SoE is gonna nerf chant just like they nerfed AE damage songs.
You can bet that someone petitioned you. If you are gonna use MQ2, you better damn well be sure that you are not doing anything to negatively impact the game for anyone else. AFK macros that are obvious are stupid.
The server merges has created some over population. I think SoE did this by design and are more willing to ban morons.
You can bet your account has a soul mark on it now. I bet the next time you are being a fag you don't get by with a warning.

From what I have heard around the issue drawing attention to MQ2 is all the peeps ghost killing etc.. Apparently there where some big incidents / petitions right after some of the server merges.. of course what I heard was all hearsay. I have yet to really use MQ2.. my main attraction is the ability to use it for trade crafting and possible Xp or hunting while i watch a movie with the laptop on my lap.. that way I don't have to concentrate for the boring stuff and can just concentrate on EQ when doing teh fun stuff.

That's also why there's been recent changes in the MQ2 zipped source, things that 99% of legitimate users aren't even going to notice, but that fuck up the tards that buy ghost or other active hacks from PA.
