you doing /echo /archhelp or just /archhelp?

if not doing /echo /archhelp try that and should fix your issue. about 3 or 4 versions back just doing /archhelp stopped working for me on one pc but worked on the other with an earlier version.

Howdy all.. Long time no updates.. :)

Anyways, the problem is an old one, and its not related to the macro. The macro runs fine, the issue most likely lies in your macroquest.ini file. When unzipping the new macroquest zip you most likely overwrote your macroquest.ini file, which is the file that holds all of your aliases which arch mac relies hevilly on.

Fix? just open up your archsettings.ini file in your favorite text editing program and change the line

Code: Select all

[Version]
ArchMacVersion=2.4
To

Code: Select all

[Version]
ArchMacVersion=Anything at all except 2.4
then run the macro again, it will load slow this time but will update your aliases with the arch.mac aliases and everything will once again run fine.

This has happened numerous times to numerous people and has been outlined in this very thread numerous times as well, but I'm not gonna flame or nuthin, cause everyone overlooks now and then. (that and I seem to be having a pretty damn good day so far)

Hope everyone still enjoys my macro and that theres no other issues in it at the moment. (runs flawlessly for me) see ya'll on the flipside.

I did see where you had posted that fix previously, but I didn't understand that it was the same issue, but now I've learned something new, so thanks again, for the macro and the help with this small problem.

OK love this Macro, but recently ran into a problem. After a medium length exp session in which it worked great, I took myself and my rangerbot to a raid. Wouldnt assist tank at raid so I ended macro and reloaded and waht I got was this:

Unparsable Calculation 'o'

arch.mac@266 (Main):/if(${Target.Type.NotEqual[PC]}&&
${Target.Distance}<${assistdistance}&&
!${Target.Type.Equal[Corpse]}&&!${Target.Type.Equal[PET]}&&
${Target.PctHPs}<${PctToAssist}){
The current macro has ended.
Failed to parse /if condition '(NULL&&NULL<220&&!NULL&&!NULL&&NULL<on)', non-numeric encountered.

So I logged off that toon and recopied and pasted the arch.mac, I went to and changed the settings that were described above, reloaded MQ2 and toon, reloaded mac, and got same error message. Anyone know how to fix it. I have Minimal coding experince, meaning none before Istarted playing with MQ. Any Ideas?

Open your ArchSettings.ini and tell me what your PctHPsToAssist=
Example

Code: Select all

[Version]
ArchMacVersion=2.4

[General]
EQAssistOnOff=TRUE
AutoSnare=TRUE
SnareSpell=entrap
AutoReRoot=FALSE
RootSpell=earthen roots
AutoTaunt=FALSE
AutoForage=FALSE
SelfBuffing=TRUE
TargetSpells=FALSE
Verbosity=FALSE
NoArchery=FALSE
StickOnNoArchery=FALSE
AutoAssist=FALSE
TankToAssist=an_obsolete_unit02
AssistDistance=150
[color=red]PctHPsToAssist=100[/color]
AutoJolt=FALSE
JoltSpell=cinder jolt
HealSpell=chloroblast
PatchHeal=TRUE
HealPct=20
DDSpell1=brushfire
AutoDD1=FALSE
DDSpell2=frozen wind
AutoDD2=FALSE
From your post, it appears that your assist percent has been changed to "on" which is NOT numeric. I believe that if you change that to a number, then it will once again work..

I suppose it wouldnt be hard to accidently fubar that..

Please let me know if that works..

Wondering if this can be updated for the changes from the March patch... Something to do with the targetting in group mode.

Mine isnt working in other words :)

My problem was Moveutilities, i recompiled that and this worked fine, except the only way to change it is by changing the .ini and saving it. /archhelp gives me a "this is not a recognized command" or whatever error.

Macro runs with no errors and assists teh tank but auto fire doesnt turn on at all. I did /noarch and said it turned on but it didnt. Only time it would use bow is if i hit autoattack and it seen it was OOR then it would use the bow till mob was dead then continue not using bow. Is there anything I am doing wrong?
