Need help in not so hard macros!

Post by Anarfin » Thu Nov 21, 2002 7:32 am

Hello all!

I'm a real newbie here, but can somebody help me?
Yesterday I saw that one man stayed under the macros. As I understand he increased his 1h-Slash skill... He was just swinging his sword, but with no visible target... Could anyone explain me about this macros and spend some time to write this macros???

If he was just slashing his sword without any visible target, he had either an invisible mob that conned higher than himself (assuming this still works) or more likely was not working on his 1HS skill, but his Instill Doubt.

But he stayed at the one place for two or three hours under this macros. No other moves, just swinging... I think this time is enough to kill any mob... So what he did all this time???

And how I can increase my 1-st Slash by macros? Only haunting mobs, or there are some other way???

My guess would still be Instill Doubt - this has an attacking animation, which would look like he was fighting an invisible foe.

There are invisible mobs that you cant hit, you just miss each time, that can be any lvl. They do emotes as you walk past the, cast on you(traps), spawn mobs, and just about anything else. If you can target them (with macro quest) you can turn attack on and go afk. You will never hurt the mob but your skills can go up.

You actually dont even need macro quest. You can use the old fashioned way of trading an item if you know where the "mob" is. You will see it done lots with the spawn controling "mobs" at the zone in of tov.

If you want to find these mobs, just look up the npc's in the zone and they will be the ones that are "invisible man" and they will have no name, wierd identifying names (ie spawnmaster), or their name will be the beggining of an emote (you, something, the).
