I have set up an RSS feed for the macroquest2.com forums. The feed shows posts on the public (non-VIP) forums. You may use this link http://www.macroquest2.com/phpBB2/rss.php with any RSS reader. If your browser supports RSS links, you should be able to "subscribe" to the RSS feed automatically as well (Firefox, for example, puts a little orange icon in the lower right corner. Clicking on the icon will bring up a little menu that will allow you to select the RSS feed to bookmark).

I'll figure out some way to handle a VIP feed also.

Private RSS feeds are now available. If your browser supports RSS links, you should see "MacroQuest2.com Private RSS Feed". The way private feeds work is with "u=###" where ### is your user number (e.g. http://www.macroquest2.com/phpBB2/rss.php?u=1 ). As long as you last logged into the forums from your current IP address, your private feed contains the latest messages from all forums you have access to. If your current IP address is NOT the one you last logged in as, you will only see publicly viewable forums.

Valid parameters to the rss script are:
u=###: user id
c=###: category id
f=###: forum id (not used if category id is given)
count=###: maximum number of posts to show. default is 15, maximum allowed is 50
t=1: show only new topics, not individual posts/replies

Examples:
User 1234
http://www.macroquest2.com/phpBB2/rss.php?u=1234
User 1234, category id 13 (VIP forums)
http://www.macroquest2.com/phpBB2/rss.php?u=1234&c=13
Bug reports only
http://www.macroquest2.com/phpBB2/rss.php?f=28

Your user id can be found in the URL when viewing your profile (NOT editing it, only viewing). You can view your profile from the memberlist or from any of your posts.

Fearless wanted to offer this information for help finding your user id if you want to set up your private RSS feed

the easiest way that I could see was from the main forum page click on "View your posts" in the upper right corner, find a post that you made then click on "Profile" in the lower left of your post. Once at this page, look in the URL for the "u=XXXX" where XXXX is your user id.
