All forums need a place for all the posts for people in the community to rant about things not relating to what the forum is about. This is that forum.

Post by n00bCoder » Wed Dec 22, 2004 8:45 pm

somethings posessing my TV... only possibility. it buzzes when sound is made, the speakers not the picture. It only buzzes on certian channels even though there all the same... it NEVER buzzes when im playin Halo2 or something. . . Can someone give me an idea on how to fix it? most common thing i can get from around here is to use a hammer :(

I've seen a lot of TV's that buzz when a certain color intensity is shown, usually a bright white or red, you sure it's not this?
Opinions are like assholes, everyone has one, but most of them stink.

The solution is to go out and buy a $3,000 HDTV. You will not experience this issue afterwards, I guarantee.

Well, the petition just got confusing. they said i wasnt in the right department for that, n they got all mad n stuff... anyways i think i know what your talking about with the color intensity, and thats not the problem. It sounds like if you have your cell-phone on a table and it vibrates, just a little more hi pitched and faster, like the speed of a bee's wings vibration. It's kinda scary... o ya n i dont have $3,000 because i bought this tv lol. So far im gonna go with either it's posessed or sony is hacking it... either way i think my best solution is EBAY!! :D

whats cool for me is when i set my cell phone down next to my computer speekers, they'll buzz just before the cell rings... its great to confuse your friends, cause it doesnt buzz very load and they'll be over and i'll be like, oh i'm going to get a call, then my cell phone rings...
ACK! I think I blew it up....

I dont think your allowed to talk about this outside of a "free speech zone" anymore.

Do you have a shitty VCR hookedup to this TV? I had this same problem a few months ago. If I hook up my old sony VCR to my wifes old Sylvania TV certain channels will buzz for 3 - 5 minutes at a time, about once every 1 - 2 hours.

ok, this TV is brand new, no VCR and the only 2 things hooked up to it are a PS2 and my direct tv thingie... and its not the picture that gets fuzzy, it's perfectly fine... it's the speakers, they sound like a. . . well i dont really know what it is but its like a freaky buzz. maybe i should record it or something... well anyways it's kinda creepy, my emails and stuff to sanyo have gotten me nowhere, and nothing seems to be working... ohh well its onna get a wrench to it very soon. ill see if that fixes it.

Well thats what it looks like.. (phear my leet artwork1)and the warranty wore out after like 7 days, therefore enhancing my neverending hate for Wal-Mart. But all in all i think it's gonna be fixed, just need to actually fix the stupid thing now, i got peeved one time n tried to strangle it, grabbed the speakers and squeezed. while i was "releasing my anger" the vibrations were gone, so im gonna fix it soon as i find a screwdriver. Thanks for all your help, maybe i can repay the favor in the future. :D
