The community is what you make of it. If someone is being an asshole, be a man and speak up and say, "eqjoe, you are an asshole." Or whatever.

There IS a difference between the following.

-Ignorance
-Stupidity
-Laziness
-Jealousy that someone else might figure it out with a little help, and not have to be a supernerd to do it (I'm a supernerd, so I don't use that term with derision)
-Concern (that too many people will learn how to use MQ and cause it to be nerfed) which turns into outright hostility at new users.

I personally see all of these in the different posters on this board.

Some people are extremely ignorant about the nuts and bolts behind their computer. I have good friends in my guild in EQ who are very intelligent people, and whom I respect very much, but they very well might ask the same question as the original poster in this thread. These people could read every post on here and still not know the answers to their questions because their questions are very basic ones that the supernerds come here knowing. The difference between a binary file and a text file. What a compiler actually does.

Some people are lazy, and come here and post without doing any reading. They may, in addition, be ignorant. Laziness should be flamed.

Some "regulars" here may fall into either of the last two categories. I think most are concerned that their autoxp bots or cash machines or even their "social standing" in this club of supernerds may be in jeopardy because of any newcomer who uses his knowledge indiscriminately, or broadcasts the information so much that SOE finally decides to do something about MQ.

Don't let your paranoia over MQ turn you into a dick. If you're a dick anyway, try not to post so much. Even your supernerd friends think you're a dick, and they don't stick up for the newbs because they don't give a shit; they're too busy doing their own thing to stick up for someone else most of the time, or they think they might be seen as weak.

Even though my post count is low and I'm a recent joiner to the forums, I'm a longtime reader of MQ, and I was a ShowEQ user since before the encryption was implemented. I have literally decades of experience with computers. I'm a network engineer by trade. Yet, I may have questions. I may not know how to do something with MQ right off the bat, and I may have a very hard time finding it with the primitive search engine in this forum.

So, try not to be an asshole. Consider, before you flame, whether you are being an asshole. If you are OK with being an asshole, by all means, stick your keyboard up your ass and type your flame with your fucking colon.

Never ment to start a flame war with this thread... In my defence i did search the boards for help with my problem long before i posted. I tried my best to find the anser on my own but sadly i just couldnt figure it out for the life of me.
I discourage stupidty anyway I can.. so fuck off. We dont want stupid fucks using MQ2. Anyone that cant figure this stuff out by reading the forums and macros is too stupid to use MQ2.
For my defence on that paticular comment. I was smart enough to figure out how to compile it, get the plugins working and macros that didnt call for one of the .inc files. So because i failed miserably at that one aspect of it i am to stupid to use it?

I will double check the files now that i know .inc is simple just a basic text file with .inc added onto it and see how it goes from there.

PS. thank you TheWarden, i just done it exactly as you said it worked perfectly :-). Now i know where i messed up and how :-)
