WoOoOo i built my first macro =P

Post by Ooka_Chokka » Sun Nov 10, 2002 4:11 am

i made a sense heading macro (kinda cut and paste with a few modifications)
prob with this
sub main \/ \/ \/
:loop \/ \/
/if n $char(ability,"Sense Heading")>0 /doability 1
/goto :loop
/return

8)

now i was kinda wondering why when "/doability Sense Heading "
was in the script it wouldnt work, but when i set it to "/doability 1" it did?
anyway, im slowly getting the hang of how this stuff works. gonna go try to modify the pizza maker script and see what i can come up with =)

Hey Ooka..GJ hehe

To answer your question, I think its because MQ is still bugged..make sure you have the latest MQ version alsO (only until a post in the hunter.mac script did i realize i was outdated)

http://macroquest2.com/IRC-latest.zip

If that doesnt work, then the /doability <name> command hasnt been debugged yet :)

ok... so when i say /doability Sense Heading, does
sense Heading have to be attributed to a certain ability slot, or can i just use it?

you can use
/doability "Sense Heading"
or
/doability (# of ability slot here)

doesnt really matter, although i have read that some people have troulbe using the "sense heading" one.

I worked around that bug fairly nicely I think..

Code: Select all

/if n $char(ability,"Sense Heading")>0 {
   /varset l1 $char(ability,"Sense Heading")
   /doability $l1
}
