Macros are written in MacroQuest2 Macro Language. I don't recall him saying the letters could only be used once. In fact the word "match" implies multiple uses of 1 letter.doti

If you're gonna try to flame someone, at least give em all the letters to insult themselves...

Real cute joke?Hacked wrote:I'd buy it *sigh*....
I haven't written any code since GW Basic came free on a 5.25 floppy with your computer that didn't come with a hard drive....
this is slightly different...
so I'm studying everybody else's macros to figure out what makes what valid syntax... the "manual" is a real cute joke.
Short answer, just do it and don't question why, if you want to go in deeper there's a million tutorials on basic programming that include block statements and escape sequences. If you interested in learning the basics that's a good place to start. People here sometimes just flame at the smallest question without trying to read whats behind it so don't give that too much thoughtFor instance ${something}.... why the ${}? Me.whatever what's the purpose/reason for the . ? and what's the difference between the word in front of the dot and the word after... that kind of stuff.... and the /line here.... indent /next line {bracket here.... where does the next bracket go}... people who've never used a programing language don't pick up on that just immediately.
