Trader Macro

Post by Gaverok » Wed Oct 06, 2004 5:22 pm

I am looking to make a simple macro that would run on a trader. All it would do is send a tell to the designated master whenever an item is purchased from the trader, how much it was purchased for and the new current balance of PP on the trader. My question is what would be the code for the macro to look for the "(PC) has purchased (Item) for --pp" after that im pretty sure i could wing the rest.

Thanks for any help in advance. Or just a nudge in the right direction of another post which i could find the info im looking for.

The problem is that I don't think the trader window is monitored by chat. If it's not monitored by chat, you can't have events (your /tell master i gots more cash fer you) fire because it doesn't see it.
Reading . . . it's not just for me.

can it monitor the bzrlog file though?

if not, can it check your bags for when an item dissapears, and than send a tell to master with (item) and (price)...not sure how you could add the buyer, perhaps just use closest pcname that was facing you or somethin
