But since there are some dev people here ill ask.

Since Oow patch one of my comps is unplayable. It has a Mobility Radeon 7500 chip and is still a supported card.

My problem is that Sony suggests i install 6.14.10.6476 but my manufacturer only released 6.14.10.6436 yet.

Going through support on Sony site it gives a link to ATI for a driver download which has an install that immediately rejects my system and tells me to go through my vendor since its a mobility chip....so......sol.

Is there anyone else with similar experiences? And is there any good way of turning eq graphics to not use the new engine features through the files? Once i log in it takes like 5 mins to open the options screen...

I had the same problem on my laptop with the same video card, and the latest omega drivers fixed my issues.

Wow, thanks for the link. I had never even heard of these before. I also have a Mobility 7500 in my laptop. I don't play EQ on it often, but I do on ocassion. The ATI site says to use the manufacturer's drivers for the Mobility cards, but Dell hasn't updated them in a very long time. Good stuff.
