Draimen's code work fine at the moment.
Everytime you use the original code you crash to desktop when you start casting.

I switched it too 2 and it still doesnt heal as a power lvl macro this thing rules 1 on 1 .. but as a grouping macro it doesnt function as well
I use the macro daily and it heals my grp just fine. Please post specific details. Are you using my ini version or the original? what class is your MT? What classes and how many in grp?
Like I said, I use it daily and it works, just haven't had a chance to test grp heals and div arb much.

Draimen's crashed me to desktop as well. Really hoping this issue can be resolved.
I am using Damien's code as well as Damien's ini file. The macro loads up fine, but as soon as the cleric attempts to heal anyone, eq locks and eventually boots to desktop. This has happened in groups of 3 and groups of 4. With the group comprised as a rogue as MT, bard, cleric, and enchanter. I have tried this using the different heal modes with the same results.
Let me know if there is anymore info you need.
-Thanks

I would say it is more of a problem with spell_routines.inc. Do you have the latest versoin of that? The afcleric macro uses this inc to cast spells, and people are crashiing when casting spells.
Also, make sure you disable usedivarb. Ability and Alt Ability ready cheacks are broke in MQ.

OK, updated front page, will now heal everyone as intended. Defaults to usedivarb=0 as altabilityready is broken atm.
I will be looking over Draimen's ini version over the next few days, looks like a killer update.
Sorry to leave that broken mac on front page for so long, but I was away on vacation. Back now.
=)

Cool deal. If you change over to the ini stuff make a variable for the ini filename and replace all my afcleric.ini with the variable, I forgot to do that hehe.
I added custom announcements in mine too but don't think I replaced all the hard coded announcements.

Code: Select all
/echo end of healgroup sub marker, someone fell through the cracks if your reading this in game
I always get spammed with this when I use the macro. If someone besides the tank is not full HP, but not low enough to heal them, then the macro spams me with this and switches target between tank and this person. I have tried switching from heal mode 2 to 3, but I still have the same problem.

Oops, meant to take that out. it was a line I put in to help me troubleshoot. Will remove it from front page macro now.
As for the switching of targets when someone gets low, that is a slightly annoying little bug I will have to fix sometime soon. May add pet heals too.

Another significant update tonight. Added pet heals, see new variables in the beginning of the mac to set what spell to use, what pet HP to heal at, cleric minimum mana to bother healing pets, etc. It is on by default.
I think I have the target switching fixed - now it should decide if a heal is needed before tagreting anyone other than the MT.
I've decided to put a little more time into the ini feature before posting it. I want it to consult the ini file only for an instant when the mac is first run, to get the values of all the variables. I don't want it to look for the ini every time it does something the whole time the mac is running as I suspect that might slow it down. Haven't tested that theory, apologies if incorrect.
As always, please post feedback, especially any bugs, with as much detail as possible. Thanks!

Oh yeah, also added "stun" and "nuke" commands for those times when cleric has extra mana. Cleric will assist the chat sender, check to be sure target acquired is an NPC less then 90% HP, then cast it once. Then it goes back to heal duties as ever. If LoM it will refuse to nuke also. You have to mem the nuke or stun spells ahead of time or it will reply to chat that nuke/stuns are not ready.

I just updated page one to fix a nasty bracket error that will crash the mac when non tank gets a heal. I just did a LDoN on this (fourbox style), so I think it is working.
=)
Sorry for posting that with a syntax error - if you grabbed it in the last 3 hours, please grab it over again and save a headache. Enjoy~

DumbStruck that is the precise error I just fixed on pg1. Should be good to go if you grab it over again. Sorry about that.
And thanks for the feedback! Just hope the mac can live up to that standard...
