Newbie Questions: OldUI and Online Macro Editing

OldUI: I installed EQ onto an older machine with an old CD (from 3 years back) and it updated the UI. How do I keep it using the old one?

Macro editing: If I share the directory on the computer running EQ and modify a .MAC file while the comp is on and running EQ from another comp on the LAN, then I run that modified macro on the comp running EQ, will my changes take effect?

Well look for NEWUI=TRUE in eqclient.ini and change to NEWUI=FALSE or when in the game tyep /newui and it will toggle it.

Yes if you save the *.mac and then run it the changes will be in effect.
