Fish.mac help I moved to right section

Post by King Bass Fisher » Wed Jun 26, 2002 8:50 pm

First I wanna say thanx a million for the 9x/ME release of MacroQuest.
That totally made my day when I got home and found out I was like Yee Ha!
I been using fish.mac but I ran into a problem.
After all my bait runs out in my ammo slot my macro ends.
I was just wanting to know how I keep on fishing do I edit the script where
MQ can find the bait in my inventory or is there somthing I didnt do right?
I appreciate the help. 8)

Im still trying to figure it out and still havnt a clue to whats goin on.
Do I have to use a Lure instead of bait?
After I use all the bait in the ammo slot the macro will find another stack of bait in my Inventory but after it does the slider bar with the number 20
shows up and the macro will end.

I wonder if I need to change somthing in the macro.
Im one desperate fisherman 8)

M8,

I too get the same - macro runs perfectly until i run out of bait - it finds next lot of bait & then macro ends at the slider bar. Any ideas?

Replaces poles beautifully tho!!!

make sure it is doing a /sendkey down shift before it tries to select the other bait to move to the ammo slot

didnt get time last night - will look at it tonight.

I was too busy getting bakin skill up and gettin all supplies ready for the next big cash cow!

Getting the skill up only took 15 mins to get from 1 to 135!!! The hard bit was finding a mixing bowl and spoon - spent ages zoning around auctioning for a potter for the bowl, until someone told me u could buy it from a vendor lol!!!

Methinks my char will be master of all trades very very soon! lol!

For myself I ran into the same problems. After I looked at the code, I figured a temp fix. Under the Submain, under :fish look for these two lines

"/call CheckBait"
"/if $return==1 /return"

and delete them (I figure I'm more likely to break my pole then run out of bait). Of course, if you run out of bait the macro won't end. Well, until someone posts a better fix, I hope this helps out.
To expect, is to disrespect
