HMM....

this isn't really MQ related, but you could try using Slimbrowser. It has an option to save current websites in a "group" so you can just load up that set in the future.

I use it all the time to load up my EQ websites.

In Firefox you can put several sites in a group and when you open that group from the bookmarks menu, you will see at the bottom "Open in Tabs". This will open all of the links in this group at once.

You can also double click the icon in the systray to get to MQ2 forums.

Geez, when did READING become optional at your schools folks..

He ASKED if he could add CUSTOM websites to the MQ icon, not "are there other programs that can do it", or "can I get to the MQ website from the icon". :roll:

I know what he asked, but since it's not possible, I offered an alternative option. Sue me. Jeez.

To the best of my knowledge, the website links are hardcoded into the main MacroQuest2.exe file. This file is pre-compiled, and the source code not distributed for it.

With the above statement being accurate, there is no way currently to change those links.

thats why i asked for an ini setting. that way you could have something like this in the ini.

Code: Select all

custom websites
custom1=www.google.com
custom2=www.yahoo.com
etc
and would allow you to input your own websites for rightclick. it may not be possible but thats why i said it was a stupid request

I can see it now, a few years from now, you no longer playing EQ.

Where's my custom sites links, whoops, gotta start up MQ first.
