Such thing as just a print out?

Post by stigmatine » Tue Oct 08, 2002 4:29 pm

Is there any possible way to make MQ just print out simple messages if i want. like make is say I am god of all evil, and just that on the screen nothing else, no soandso says, I am god of all evil, just I am god of all evil, get my point. Just asking can plz send me a PM or something on this thx. Also wanted to know if i can recall something that was printed in the chat window again without having to actually retype it. Not using shift (duh), but something like a string recall or something if thats even possible. thx.

The eq client cannot do that normally so if you suddenly could then dont ya think it would look a little suspicous. Besides the server would need to relay the message to other clients. Look up $lastcommand in the readme (think thats right).

actually, I believe the command for the zone-wide text is server-side, and only enabled when you're tagged as a Guide... I'm pretty sure it's not client-side, so would be impossible to duplicate...
