n00b question inc

Post by superchaz216 » Thu Jun 17, 2004 10:35 pm

Ok, i got a question, ....ok, i got everything working correctly, but i dunno 1 thing.... When u see people say "hey here is my code for an exp bot! or automatic this or that! Enjoy!" ... where do u put the code? Can i just get a small tutorial on what to do here? All i want is a simple exp bot that i can leave running for a while and level some alternate characters up or something. If someone wants to, a small 1k an hour thing would be cool too... i dont wanna overdue it with some crazy 30k an hour thing. ---But pretty much all im asking is 2 things... A) where to put a code for something like an exp bot....pretty much how to get it working, and, B) a simple exp code so i can level my characters up, because i dont have much time to play.--- Any help would be great, i searched the forums here for a long, long time, ..like 3 hours, and didnt really find much.... ty!

I have a fealing you will be very popular here. I am going to answer you before you get told to fuck off. Open note pad then copy the macro in it. Then save it as "name of macro without quotes".mac

Just wait until you're banned for being an idiot.
MacroQuest is not for you. It's not meant for people who want everything handed to them on a silver platter. It's not for the people who ask where to put the code, then start begging for code. I could ALMOST let it slide had you not broken two major rules here: Don't ask for AFK macros, and don't ask for plat macros.

Fuck off and die, you sorry sack of shit. May the guardian of TFM come beat you around with it for not reading it.

superchaz:

Yeah, Which most of the people here do to people that ask questions like yours...

Except they flame you, then forget you.

There is a reason you didn't find plat macro's or afk macros. If you didn't figure that out after '3 hours of searching', then you have a thick skull.

... ummm... what was your name again? /shrug

Your in the wrong forum for EQ cheats. Macroquest enhances your ability to enjoy and control the game within limits, not to exploit it.

I originally thought I'd give you some simple step by step instructions to get yourself something running (MQ2MoveUtils or whatever), but if you think 3 hours of searching makes you the MQ2 God and thus you can waltz in here and tell people FU when you don't have a sweet clue...

Well I guess I not only wasted my time in this thread but wasted some more replying, so probably I'm the idiot here anyway.

A) where to put a code for something like an exp bot....pretty much how to get it working.
There is a directory in the RELEASE folder called "MACROS". Put your macros there. Kinda obvious, but hey it happens.
B) a simple exp code so i can level my characters up, because i dont have much time to play.--- Any help would be great, i searched the forums here for a long, long time, ..like 3 hours, and didnt really find much.... ty!
Sorry but no one is going to make you a specific EXP macro. There are some macro's in there that MIGHT work for you, but there are so many unknowns when so many people use the same macro.

So you are going to have to learn alittle and mess around some.

Back to topic.

You can find macros in the Macro Depot 3.0 area of the forum. Put them as mentioned above in the Macros directory.

Ingame if you got everything to work (Compile and run):
Start macro:
/macro macroname

End macro:
/end
