That's not good. I'll have to do some tests when I get home to find out what's causing the bomb. Lax did mention he changed the math calculation functions; there could be a new bug in it that RH exploits. Worse, RH causing you to LD is more than scary--the client could be kicking you out for spamming.

I've been running the macro for a few hours now with no problems. I havn't tried to use the auto assist or auto strike disc features, so that may be an area to look into. Autostick, Autoevade, Autohs, aggro detection, etc is all working fine for me.

ditto on the client crash when moving behind.
Aside from that, Jerle, you've created a beautiful thing here. You have my utmost thanks and respect.

Just for troubleshooting purposes I dont get a crash. I am not using weapon switching or the strike feature. My clickys dont work but neither does swapcast.mac. I love the fact that your working on the z axis btw thats great stuff.
Thanks,
Dirx

Prior to this patch, I had two working /iclick's set up. Now, I get [MQ2] ** "Item Name Here" not found! (despite it being in my inventory). Did /iclick break, or have I failed to include some dependancy after the patch?

Guys:
There's some bugs with MQ2 right now. Mostly it has to do with error trapping in the new calculation features. Also there are a few new entries in the item structures (from what I've heard on the MQ2 IRC as well as what I've read on the MQ2 bug reports section).
All this means is we'll have to wait for a little update to MQ2 for the currently "broken" features of RH to return to working status. There's really nothing wrong with the macro, per say, but the functionality that does calculations (which is used in just about every portion of RH that performs movement) is bombing MQ2 and therefore EQ. FindItem is also fuggered up right now due to item structure changes and the /iclick commands within RH rely heavily on the FindItem TLOs within MQ2. I'll put some conditional testing into my version 5.3 (which I want to post soon, but I'll wait for MQ2 fixing to settle down) to see if I can isolate the exact issue and post a bug report.
Lax (and the other developers) are alot more receptive to fixing problems if you can give a demonstrable reproduction of one. Unfortunately, I worked 14 hours today and I'm just too damn tired to load up EQ tonight. If I get a chance, I'll isolate what's causing the bomb and nudge someone here in the right direction. Until then, hang tight.
There's nothing you can do to RH to make it completely work until the new changes to MQ2 are stable--no help for that.
Hang in there, and thanks for the kudos! The fact that there are several responses going "WTF?!?!" make me happy to have written RH :)
Ta ta,

Jerle
I just want to let you know that this is the best rogue macro out there. Hell I am so spoiled that I won't even play my rogue unless its working :). Thanks again.

I definitely enjoy playing rogue much more with this script than not. I play mostly in a high end raid environment, which when not using MQ results in too much twitch-action to be enjoyable. This script and the way I choose to use it removes the twitch factor but still requires me to pay attention to what is going on, significantly enhancing my experience.
I can't fairly say it's the best rogue script out there, but it's certainly the best of the two I've used (where the other is one I hacked together under the old sccript system).

/cry.... I need this working!
I'm going thru withdrawals that surpass any experience a crack addict might go thru on his 2nd week of rehab.
I tried downloading the latest release but that doesn't even let me compile properly. There's something messed up there. (I can't choose Build / Set Active Config)
When do you guys think the calculations will be fixed? Is there a quick and dirty way to get RH.mac to just partially work in the meantime?
P.S. Jerle -- I use this macro so much I was thinking of sending you some money. How would I go about doing that? You are a 2boxer's savior.
May the eclipse of your soul never fade to light!

There is a workaround HACK to try to get MQ2 working by patching in the old math calculation code (Caladine posted it in another thread). I don't advise doing this, as Lax will probably fix the code in the next day or so; but, if you absolutely positively want MQ2 working in the shortrun, it may work for you:
"Go into MQ2Utilities.c and uncomment the old calculate "ActualCalculate", and uncomment the Benchmarks line at the bottom of the file with ActualCalculate, and comment out the other."
Trippy sounds like you're using VC++ for your compiler. Sometimes it takes a day or two to shakedown some bugs in the VC++ compiling compatability (most of the devs use VC.NET). If you can, try real hard to get your hands on VC.NET, and most of your nightmares will go away.

Oh, I also forgot to mention that 5.3 is done, but I'm not sure if it's working yet due to MQ2's issues right now. I'll post it as soon as MQ2 is stable (both in FindItem code and Math.Calc code).
In 5.3, RH now accounts for nimble evasion, and will autoevade and attempt to hide, even if you're moving if you have nimble evasion. If you don't have nimble evasion, it will behave as it did before.
If you're swimming, RH knows this and will face the target in the Z-axis, as well as X & Y (it will not face the center-body if you're not swimming, so you can look at it's feet, or the sky or whathaveyou like you did before). Looking at the central-point Z-axis of a target while swimming (conditionally) allows you to autostick to a target in three dimensions. This allows for fluid autosticking and persuance while swimming! Yeah!
Once again, I'll toss this little update on the site as soon as MQ2 is fully functional.
