/cast "spellname" not working

Post by Draekz » Thu Oct 03, 2002 1:12 am

Well, after i updated with 927 my /cast "spellname" commands dont seem to work? It keeps telling me that I dont have the spell memorized?

Any ideas?

Can anyone please respond to this? Or at least assure me its not just my comp?

Really sucks because im in the middle of making a script that uses a lot of those features combined with the spellbook.mac and whathaveyou, and because the program doesnt understand the function (or the spell name) its pretty much useless...

Thanks in advance

Try in IRC-20021001a or IRC-20020929.

Also, as a possible workaround, try this in the 'broken' version and see if it works:

Code: Select all

/cast $char(gem,"Name of Spell")
and let me/us know what you come up with. Thanks!

Used 1001a (didnt kno 929 existed) and everything but /cast "Superior Healing" works..

Discussed on IRC and logged it in SF Bug Tracker.

Seems as tho macroquest thnks Superior Heal is called PLAYER_1 for some reason hehe
