MQ vs Magelo Update

Post by Yalp » Mon May 10, 2004 8:28 pm

Magelo people acutally get paid some and yet the MQ Devs always have the offsets for MQ2 up and running way faster than the Magelo people. Not to mention MQ probably has 10x the # of offsets than magelo update.

Because i wouldn't have it any other way

Magelo's updates are slower because they have to wait for MQ to tell them what they are

Magelo only needs two or three offsets. However, their structs are much more extensive than ours. For example, look at all the information they have about items compared to what's in our iteminfo struct. We're using the same memory structure, they just have it filled out more.

It's all a matter of application focus and the fact that magelo and MQ do different things.

Magelo is one man, no-one else, when Jelan isn't working on it, no-one else is either.
