is there a command to forget a spell

i want to forget a spell in a gem any ideas on syntax please
would i use itemnotify ?[/code]

I believe you could use /memspell and just give it a bogus spell name. Try this:

/memspell 5 "Bogus Spell"

If your intent is to de-mem and mem something else then /memspell already does that.

This would de-mem anything you had in slot 5 and mem Heroic Bond in its place.
/memspell 5 "Heroic Bond"

i am basically writing a spell train macro that once your max for that skill is attained will demem the spell, once all 8 slots are dememmed it will quit .

the memspell did not work it would mem a known spell but not forget a spell if the spell name was incorrect .. Any other ideas Please !

See Lax's reply for using /notify for this. I'm not quite sure why you need your logic to look for demmed slots though. Just monitor your skill level in that skill type and switch to another spell with a new skill type after you've reached your limit for the level.
