Selecting One Item from a stack using /ctrl

Post by python023 » Thu Apr 22, 2004 10:28 pm

I am trying to select one "Small Piece of Ore" from my stack of 20. I've tried all of the following:

Code: Select all

/ctrl /itemnotify ${FindItem[=Small Piece of Ore].InvSlot} leftmouseup
/ctrl /itemnotify ${FindItem[Small Piece of Ore].InvSlot} leftmouseup
/ctrl /itemnotify ${FindItem[Small].InvSlot} leftmouseup
/ctrl /finditem "Small Piece of Ore"
The first 3 do nothing at all.
The last one clicks on the Stack of "Small Piece of Ore", but asks me how many i want in the dialog box. How can i get it to only pick up one Small Piece of Ore out of my packs.
Thank you
python

P.S. I did use the search, which is where i found the first example, and slightly modified it. I also read through Lax's 4 posts in the MQ2:Announcements Forum and the manual on /itemnotify. The code seems right, but no actions occurs in the first 3 and the dialog comes up in the last, as mentioned above. Thanks again - python.

Im gona ask a really stupid question. Did you have your inventory/bag open when you tryed? The reason I ask is because it works with the bag open and will not work with the bag closed.

Are you using Visual Studio 6 (incl. Visual C++ 6)?
Do you have Service Pack 6 as instructed in a) announcements, b) bug reports, c) somewhere else?

/itemnotify and /notify are for one reason or another known to not work with VC6 unless you have installed SP6.
