Macros with high #turbo

Post by Lax » Thu Apr 15, 2004 11:40 pm

If you're experiencing "lag" with your macros... stop using the highest turbo possible! Previously, the limit would never be reached because many commands did not set the "Run next command" that each command was actually required to set. The default was to not run the next command, so macro execution went relatively slow. The default is now to run the next command. People are noticing this in the form of lag while macroing.

Next version Turbo will be enabled by default and the maximum you can set it to will be 20. This means 20 commands will run per frame, maximum. If a command says "do not run the next command", the maximum will not be reached that frame.

The #turbo changes are live. #turbo is on by default, at a value of 20. 20 is also the maximum, you cannot go higher. Therefore, the only time you should use #turbo is if you need to slow it down for some reason.
