I found the following with Plazmic's help. This is not in the readme yet however if you do a /bind eqlist it does tell you what all the possibles are.

Code: Select all

/bind eqlist
cyclenpctargets
cyclepctargets

last week i was working on something just along the lines of this new cycle target thing. i wanted to make it cycle through all targets without a certain radius, that were also in line of sight, but couldn't find a way to.

this new eq cycle target is basically what i was looking for but i'd still like it to be able to get mobs that were behind me, yet still able to cast on. is there any way in MQ you can determine if a mob is in line of sight, without trying to cast on it and parsing the "you cannot see your target" message?

First thing that comes in my mind is to use $target(headingto) and compare it with $char(heading), if the first is in the 180 degres of your front (from 270 to 90) you can see it else it is behind you. Of course, this says nothing to you about walls or hills that can block your line of sight.

Like all in game targeting this is using the keys from the game. You are limited to the way it works in game. So as such it is going to be LoS.
