is it possible to.... [Request Fulfilled]

Is there a way to make something that will allow you to stay within a certain range of a target (just out of melee). I will have sow, agro a mob, then i want to be able to target it, and the macro will then run strait untill i reach a certain distance from the target, then make turns (while still running) untill the mob reaches a distance just out of melee range?

what i want it to do really is run in circles, keeping the targeted mob out of melee range, but further than range 35 away from it.

is something like this possible?

Alternatly, could i enter a radius, then have the macro run a circle with that radius? (I need to be able to change the size of the circle because some things run more quickly than others)

lastly, if neither of those are possible, can i set up waypoints (enough to make a circle)?

thanks for your help in this.

hmm I'm still a newb at this but ill try to help...

Code: Select all

|Runaway.mac
| ~by Red Moogle
#turbo
Sub Main
   :Loop
      /if n $target(distance)<50 /sendkey down up
      /if n $target(distance)>75 /sendkey up up
      /delay 0
   /if "$target()"=="TRUE" /goto :Loop
/return
That should keep you from 50-75 distance away from the mob change the numbers if you want to be closer/farther from the mob if you wanted to cast a spell be shure to /sendkey up up or /press up to stop running first and prolly put a /delay after that to make shrue you dont get a interrupt but I could be horrably wrong ^_^ (this assumes you are facing away from the mob so if you are facing it it will run into the mob then run away from it)
:Loop
/echo Kupo!
/goto :Loop

Heh, i'd be willing to bet he's a Bard, and would just be twisting his songs as he ran around in circles.
Opinions are like assholes, everyone has one, but most of them stink.
