Seriously... If you can't figure this out, just go play EQ and have fun without MQ.

You are just going to get flamed here for asking such simplistic questions.

Gee, it says it can't open a file, and then provides you with the full path to the file in question. I wonder that that could possibly mean...

Understanding english is a prerequisite for using MQ2...

Probably because you don't understand something as simple as a file extension. If that isn't enough help for you to figure it out, I'm afraid you are wasting your time.

Make sure the file is named shammy.mac. Notepad might have appended a .txt to it.

2 things:

1) Dev fight!

2) As far as our new friend is concerned, I think he has survived enough flames for one post so I have to ask, when you say you copied "shambot" to your notepad, when you saved it did you in fact name it "shammy.mac" to call it up as that? Just a quick thought.

Mirasai:

He doesn't have his system set up to view file extensions. More than likely it is saved as shambot.mac.txt, and he doesn't know how to remove the .txt part.

kool23: until you can figure out the basic workings of your computer, something as simple as enabling viewing of file extensions (if you even know what those are) you are wasting your time with MQ. MQ is NOT easy, nor is it designed to be. This ain't a plug-and-play system.
