Post by ubah_cleric_001 » Fri Apr 02, 2004 10:46 am

not really a bug but a noob question :(

ok so i loaded a friends toon the other day and i normally dont play melee classes. before i began using MQ when i wanted to use a discipline i would just type /disc <blah blah> and it would work. well i found myself in a situation where i needed to disc and i had MQ loaded and it wouldnt work. im prolly just missing something really obvious but can someone point me in the right direction please :?

any help is appreciated.

Check out the combat abilities - alt + c brings up the window.
Ctrl + 1-6 activates 'em.

You can probably /alias /disc /discipline and it'll work fine.

Yeah, the funny thing is, they took it out for melee only LOL. If you're a melee class with dics, and you do /dis(cipline), you don't get any info, it just doesn't work. If you're a caster, and do it, it bitches saying only melee classes can use discs! LOL. ;-)

You can still activate your disciplines with /disc, you just don't get the remaining time feedback anymore when typing it without an argueent since there are now multiple disc timers.
