if you have TWO instances of EQ up. both in windowd mode... MQ wont run macros on the passive window *the one in the back that is not active* at least it wouldnt as of the 3-16 build

The fact that EQW doesn't work with DirectX 9 and will need to be updated for the latest patch :)
EDIT: By "doesn't work with DirectX 9" I mean "doesn't work with the DirectX 9 patch for EQ"
That's what I get for not having enough sleep.

Reports from the test server is that it "crashes" giving a black box somewhere between server select and character select.
I don't use the test server personally, so I don't know how to better describe it.

EQw has been broken a few times on test and worked on live servers so.

My EQW idles on server select and then boots me after a while. SoE Windowed mode sucks, EQW is much better. Why do they bother patching the game to make it worse?

I got into EQ, ran around pok setting up new gamma etc and noticed there was no window....
I use EQW exclusively as a launcher and all else was normal except , well it doesn't work.
Never crashed me or anything by then again never worked.
All I can say is that in beta, eqw stopped working and then started working again. Seems to me that enough people use EQW in soe that it will get fized again.
Be nice to have someone take over the project though.

The only problems I've ever had with doing this is if the macro in the background requires the use of the mouse. All the macros I use that do not use the mouse work just fine in the passive window.

Mabye one of you programming folk could create another EQW-like program (suggested in the earlier posts)
