Regarding Turbo Amount! (question)

Post by Draekz » Tue Feb 17, 2004 2:11 pm

I was just wondering, besides having EQ crash, is there any other hazard to having the turbo amount set high? I always see people saying "use at your own risk" but im just wondering if thats just referring to use and prepared to crash or use and prepare to be caught?

Macro i'm wanting to boost a bit is the jay's rogue script!

Just curious if a high turbo amount is just an easier means of getting caught or an easier means of crashing :P

Thanks for any info!

The reason why they say to be careful is that you could have a script that really pounds your CPU doing tons of operations if you code your scripts incorrectly.

I personally try to stay around 50, but on some occasions I've just used #turbo (Which I believe is 500 and the maximum). When I use that setting I typically have /delay 0 sprinkled in my code at appropriate spots so as to lessen the CPU usage.

I'd personally *never* recommend using no turbo at all. It drags ass.
