I'm really new to all this but I've been using your EQCPU and it's worked great until today's patch.

Is there something I need to manually fix in that program that will make it work again?

Thanks!

HELP

Post by eqjunky » Tue Nov 25, 2003 3:59 pm

I've been using MQ for about 6 months. A friend showed it to me and always kept me up to date. Since the last patch my friend no longer plays EQ, therefore won't be sending me updated copies of MQ. I don't have the finances to purchase VBS or C++ to compile. I'm not even sure if I bought it that I could figure it out. I've always been an end user. I'm hoping that somebody will show pity on this poor addicted to MQ/EQ soul and either suggest a free download of a program to compile with, or send me a working version of MQ2. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I'm not sure if I'm breaking the board rules by posting my email, but here it is. jbrintnell@comcast.net. It nas no way to be traced to SOE, as it was set up under a different addy. If I am breaking forum rules, please feel free to delete this post, and I will know by it's deletion that I broke the rules.

No one can just send you a compiled version anymore. Distributing the binaries has become more difficult.

Unless you have a friend who can compile it for you, I don't think it will happen.

no need to edit the .ini and .h anymore.. just download the newest version from the main mq.sf.net page and auth/compile
