Normal EQ /Who Comment

Post by MacroFiend » Mon Nov 10, 2003 10:56 am

Did I miss the memo about Sony changing the output for the normal /who? I did a "/who all guild" this morning and to my shock, non-RP/non-Anon players had their race in the /who.

Looked something like this ...

Code: Select all

[34 Beastlord] SomeBeastlord (Barbarian) <Guild Name> ZONE: bazaar
Am I just losing my memory and it has been this way for a while ... or is that new?

No... I'm pretty sure that's always been that way... if it isn't one of the player starting races it gets stuck with UnKnown(ie. skeleton illusions)

Actually, it would never be unknown since the global /who doesn't display illusions, it always displays the true race.

Actually, I'm not sure that's completely true. But someone will let me know if I'm wrong... If you're in the same zone as someone with an illusion and do the /who on them, you'll see whatever race the illusion is. However, someone not in the zone who does a /who on that person will see the true race.

At least that's what I seem to remember.
