CTD when entering world, Nov 5th.

Using the current dev CVS, which includes Amadeus fixed _CHARINFO, and the offsets from here...

Compiling with Visual Studio .NET 2002

Using the solution file, eqlib.dll is 508k.
Using nmake, eqlib.dll is 536k.

Both result in a crash to desktop when entering world.

Yeah, saw that, yet there are a number of people who can actually log in with MQ running, after updating the offsets and pasting in Amadeus code. That means the dev CVS is borked.

Also, why the different dll files between the solution and nmake?

it means they are running something which does not have the new chatwindow, or they have it turned off... possibly with FilterMacro=2 or
UseMQChatWnd=0

any of them which renders mq pretty much useless unless you telnet to it i guess...

uh uh, both those files were compiled on my system, from the same source code. Different compilation methods yielded different sizes for eqlib.dll.

the makefile has more debugging info in the exe.
