A lot of people I know do still prefer 98 for gaming. More are stuck with Me due to the cost of XP. A lot of EQ players are students, and even the 100 bucks for XP Home is a big burden. And not everyone is willing to "acquire" software from other sources.

For security alone I can't believe you Win9x users aren't running on XP; *especially* those of you that call yourselves hackers.

I still have 1 machine that is running 98. The upgrade costs and the headache involved isn't worth it to me at the moment. As for security, It's only used for eq and it's behind a firewall.
