Have you tried this and gotten a working key? I don't wanna enter an email to get spammed like hell. (Even tho I only check email like 2 times a year)

No need to worry if you dont like getting spam emails, just set up a secondary account for crap like that(there are ever so many places you can sign up for a free email account, im not going to list em all), and check it when you sign up for something and NEED the information that is getting sent, and if you get spammed, who cares! Just delete all the excess(or hell, leave it in there so the server will start sending you email spam too!)

I created a trial account this morning, immediately after activating the key i was able to log on. I didn't have to enter any credit card info or subscribe. Created a few characters including a woodelf bard took the spire up to nexus and ran around in bazaar for an hour until i logged off to investigate. When i tryed to log back on again it said what it usually says, subscribe to a plan now later ... etc.

Freak accident? or perhaps a way to duplicate this. I remember something strange about when i logged on that time it said some error and login server is busy i'm not sure if it was one of the typical errors, after giving me that 2 times it logged in and asked what kind of video card i was using, then i was creating characters as usual.

Oh yeah, i created a Vah Shir beastlord i wonder if /when i pay subscribe for this account if it will have SoL enabled?

hmm, very odd, it may have had something to do with Sony's "maintenance" of their webservers, that caused everyone so much grief... they had accounts that couldn't log in, and accounts that lost expansions... one of the GM's play accounts (she said this in the chat server) only had Kunark enabled... perhaps was a freak bug going along with that?

Now that you mention it a friends account that was inactive and shes on vacation mysteriously, i was able to log into it last night, and now its not active. Thought she snuck in and payed it, guess not. Strange...
