Check this out... maybe someone knows why this happens...

If you click start -> run and type command(for command.com) and type:

start /abovenormal eqgame.exe patchme

Then it works just fine.... game loads with priority of abovenormal, but if you click start -> run and type cmd(windows xp command prompt) and type the same line in priority stays the same... anyone know why? I've never seen this before... I believe that windows 2000 doesn't work like that, and it would appear that 2003 does, im assuming because 2000 is a spinoff of NT, and 2003 is a spinoff of XP.

Also, with the latest code and the click is fixed (woohoo) the macros run fine for about a minute, then begin to run very slowly... any idea why? Imagine running the macro and then inserting delays after every line and making it longer and longer...

when I want to tweak priorities on run-time I use this neat little program called Hack-It .. Go check it out if you're still having problems.. It's nice for making windows always on top, "hiding" windows into your sys tray, hiding banners (heh), various simple-tron junk. Just don't run it while running VB 6 lol (always crashes)

ever tried starting task manager as a system process? try using the AT command. now you can change the priority of even your system services.

For those whodont know you can run 2 EQs at the same time now w/ out EQwindows .. Just start one EQ up load up yer char etc and tehn go into window mode w/ alt+tab .. sometimes ya gotta hit that twice and it will go into window mode then jsut use alt+shift+r to gain mouse control on desktop and Open up another EQ as you normalkly would .. to toggle back and forht you can use alt+tab or you can use the alt+shift+r and move the piointer over wch ever eq ya want ..

they did this so if chars go linkdead you can still log onto the chat server or if EQ freezes up you can still re open EQ and go into chat etc when LD problems occur etc .. But i will tell ya this ... It runs 10x more efficiantly than EQwindows doing the above method and the grpahics are normal w/ little to no lag the only problem is the zone times are a lil slow .. But they are w/ EQ windows as well .. All that said you should be able to prioritize the way you were accustome to ..
