CVS help!

New to this, read the manuals and after stuff making some sense from being just greek, I still can't get it to work.

I always get: "cvs [checkout aborted]: recv() from server cvs.sourceforge.net: EOF" - No matter what I do.

Any ideas?

Many times I have to hammer the CVS server to get it to respond. If you think you're doing it right, just keep doing it for about 50 times....if it never seems to do anything, then something may be wrong.

But, I've literally sat and hammered for tens of times before getting the anon cvs server to respond.

So, can I hate you then a little? I mean, I love all you devs for this great thing you are doing, but with the ZIP being gone atm (is it permanently removed?) and CVS vexing me, I must spread a little h8!

But.. now I can't even connect to the CVS server, guess I should just go sleep or something.

I just like to take this opportunity to point out the there is, in fact, a freaking link on the downloads page to a zip of the source files just because the anonymous CVS server blows.

LOL out of the last few posts i read, I think its time for the devs to take a little R&R and just gather their thoughts

I can understand the frustrations but I've been seeing a lot of freaking out over very little

(then again if I was the dev fixing shiz im sure i'd bleep too

Anyway, just chill guys, u dont need to serve the public..just do it in ur own time and shiz

Hell i dont even PLAY eq much anymore now that mq doesnt work (only used it for spawn locs and stuff)..
but nonetheless, I still cant wait for it.

bleh, been up hours just runnin around pok..and i never even got anywhere doing it lol..just was looking everywhere..essentially for chanter words

Is this a trend for you? Not to stoop to your level, but before spouting this worthless crap, make sure to get it straight. Yes, there is a link NOW, but wasn't when I posted this. /shrug, you really need to work on your anger.

Flaming a dev for ANY reason, in my opinion, should be grounds for immediate banning without apology or reason.

How utterly stupid do you have to be to flame the hand that feeds you? I don't care if you think DKAA or any dev has the worst anger management in the world, you should keep your damn mouth shut.

Ungrateful? What does my last post have to with ANYTHING about appreciation about what they do?

Ban me, fine... It's a private board and you are able to do whatever you please, for whatever reasons. However, I still won't just sit here and let him make a post like that when he is in the wrong. If that is difficult to comprehend then I am sorry.
