Hey all! I am new to this program and I don't understand this. I open the mq and the eq sheild appears in the corner but I can't get any macros to work. What do I do? Oh I got the cilient to work I not getting the error message any more. So how do I use macros

when in the game type /macro nameofmacro . so if the macro you want to use is the newlevel macro you type /macro newlevel . hope this helps you

when you log into the game does it say macroquest loaded? it will not work if it is not showing in chat that it has loaded.

It no longer says it isn't working because of wrong virsion but no it doesn't and I am using the old UI

What I notice in a few post when explaining how to run a macro is people leaving off the file type (.mac). If macro name is newlevel.mac than onec EQ is running type in the say window /macro newlevel.mac and the macro will start running. Also you dont have to write a macro in .mac, I use notepad and it has a .txt extension.

That probably is because you don't need the .mac extension, just type Newlevel and it will work.

I use .mac the thing doesn't say it is loaded and no enhancements work

Try typing /filter macros all
by default MQ fitlers everything, this will turn filters off and allow you to see whats going on.
