Why MQ?

From reading the boards I can tell that you need Macroquest to run a macro. Why do you need macroquest and are there other programs out there to run a macro? I was looking to us or write a fight macro that would allow my warrior to attack mobs that my necro is aggro kiting.

I didn't come here to ask for this macro but to ask what type of program is Macro Quest and are there other programs like this out there for free. Sorry that I sound like a cheap person but I am.

the only other macro type program i know of is Xylobot, but writing a script that would help you agro kite would be quite hard. i would call most of the "macros" scripts actually, but thats just me. the warrior pet or slightly improved warrior pet script should work out of the box for ya... as long as you turn taunt off :)

Ive used it agro kiting with druid in HoH and it did just fine.
