mule macro

Ok.. Here's the deal.. I am in charge of the guild coffers which means that one of my characters is the trademule for my guild.

They give me stuffs and I sell in bazaar and use the plat for newbs that need gear, purchase items to help with epics, etc..... Really no problem with that at all... However, when I come on to play, I spend a couple hours waiting on people to bring me thier crap, put it in the bank and wait for the next person that just sent me a tell.. This is getting old because it puts a serious smack on my ingame time (which is limited) but it's my responsibility.. The trader I can leave up all night and don't have to do a thing, but I could realy use a macro that will just autoaccept a trade.. Nothing more... That's it..

I know it could be considered an AFK macro, but the sole purpose would be to free up my actual playtime.. I could leave mule on when I got to work and they can bring me thier crap.. When I'm full, I'm full and they will just have to deal...

I have looked over documentation and I don't see anything to accomplish this or I would write it myself..

Okay this is pretty easy. Way I think I would handle it, would be to write a hail event: "#!# says, Hail <TRADERNAME>" or something like that. /doeventes in a loop to watch for hails. when you get hailed, you can check to see if the person hailing is in your guild if you want, if so use /notify to close your trader window. The person could then give you whatever. watch for the trade window to be open and if it is use /notify again to spam the trade accept button at some interval (once a seccond or whatever). When the window closes, /trader back up, and /notify the start trader button once it pops up.

Not much code, but you can use search to look up the /notify button, a list of UI Windows and Elements, and find a bazillion Hail event examples. Other things you might add: do a check in the hail to see if you have any spots free. Maybe ignore hails if you are full (or tell them sorry, youre full). Could then tell them how many slots you have free if not full /t ${Hailer} 7 slots free, open trade when ready - or what not. You might also want to log who gives you what items - you could use /mqlog for that.

Hope this helps, and good luck.

fantastic.. That is exactly what I needed to know.. That way they can reach me when I'm in trader mode and I can kill two birds with one stone..

Awesome..
