Okay, my problem is a bit different from the ones reported above. As of today, I'm not able to get ANY twist macro or plugin to reliably cast Selos. When I hand twist, Selos seems to work fine, but with this macro, the mw2twist plugin and other simple macros I've written myself, I can't get Selos to cast after the first song. I've tried moving it earlier and later in the song list ( e.g. selos is in gem 1, tried 123, 321, 213, etc), to no avail. It's always Selos that has a problem. Other song sets seem to work just fine, e.g. snare + haste + mana regen twists just fine.

So my question is this->did Sony nerf Selos in the last patch somehow so that you can't macro it? Is anyone else having this problem?

First off, great macro, i use it ALL the time on my bard because twisting and talking w/ group is a pain in the ass. Just one thing wrong though:

If your song gets interrupted(miss a note, stunned in combat), it will skip over the current song and play the next one in line. How can I fix this?

Today (7/28/04) I compiled MQ2 and installed this macro for my bard. It worked great except for one thing. When I was weaving resist for my raid, PoV and AE PR/DR, it seems that they both will land the first time but will not renew till they wear off. I found that anytime I used these 2 songs in the same weave that it does this. When the bard is buffed with PoV, the AE resist message doesn't take effect on him since PoV overwrites it. Could this have anything to do with it?

To recreate this, simply:
1)mem PoV (gem1) and AE resist song (gem2)-(either of the 2 will do)
2) typed "/macro twist.mac 12"

If i'm doing something wrong, feel free to point and laugh at me.

I haven't used this macro, but my first guess is that it just never "sees" the AE landing (since as you said, they don't stack) and it's waiting for the message or some sort of timeout before it moves on with the twist. I don't have the time to dive into the macro right now, but you might want to try the twisting plugin instead if you just want to get up-and-running right away. (Shouldn't be a problem if you compiled MQ yourself.) Its not without its own quirks, but I've had no problem using it to weave PoV with raid resists. A lot of the problem with any casting/twisting macro is figuring out when the spell actually "lands" server-side, as the client often isn't told explicitly, or lags a bit. Twisting is extremely sensitive to this.

(Hope I'm not stepping on the toes of the author/users of this macro, it's just not something I've gotten around to fiddling with yet, and wanted to let him know a "hot-fix" was out there.)

Something to keep in mind with recent releases of MQ is the timing of the macro has become off. This is probally dependant on how much lag the users system recieves, but if you are having issues with not keeping 3 songs up solid then do this.

Increase the number in this -

Personally I use

and I now will never have a problem with dropped songs.

Note there are 2 instances of that line. Make sure you change BOTH of them.

Same problem as others. I cannot get it to play more than the first song over and over again. If possible can someone explain the fix in "tard" language for me so I can understand. Thanks

Thanx for the tip Meia.. i will try this, as i recently had some minor quirks with songs dropping just as it land again (twisting 3 songs).. not really bad for me, but to get it more stable ill give it a whirl :)
