Is it feasible? Trying to find offsets for test when they're patching every day/every other day is.. Painful :) I know SEQ had an offset finder, maybe that can be tweaked a bit and ported over to work for us. I'm not a coder, but I'm sure there's some way I could help an enterprising codemonkey.

You were the one that chose to play on Test man ....pretty insane if you ask me and I'm afraid I have very little sympathy for your plight with MQ. Sorry.

yes it is possible.
I have an offset finder that works quite well using systems of regular expressions.
I wont post source code, but if your motivated enough Im sure you could write one.

Heh well I'm not looking for sympathy, just solutions. *shrug*

Yes, I could write one if I spent the time to learn all the coding knowledge and stuff. However I was hoping someone might have the code laying around, or feel like sharing. What's the point of posting you've got one if you're just gonna say you don't wish to share? Ah well., it appears i'llb e writing my own offset finder

Not the most automated of ways, but Excel+W32DASM+XVI32(VERY nice wildcard hex search facility - useful

) = about 10-15mins to find offsets.

I'll pick up this XVI32, but how exactly would you combine Excel and hte other stuff? I don't have a problem with doing it manually, it's just the fact that it takes me like an hour to go through all of 'em that I find aggravating. There's a lot of offsets to be doing it every 2-3 days

Well I just wanted to let you know that it is quite doable and has been done, and wish you luck in writing your own!
And its not that I dont wish to share, but doing so would defeat the purpose of having the tool in the first place. Besides, anyone who has such a tool can still post the offsets they find with it and still give something to the community in doing so, I used to post offsets but these days other people are too fast and have ususally already posted them

Only human AP50, only human.
In my defence, was quite exceptional circumstances, big patch, possiblity of major structure changes, struct finders blaming offsets, offset finders presuming struct problems. But you're right... i did miss a digit.
Shalln't bother next time. Will submit to your clear superiority.

My only request is that offsets be posted in development forum until they are 100% confirmed.
