I'm a noob when it comes to XML coding, but I took the animations file from the non-mq version floating around on eqinterface's forums and modified it for this version. Seems to work well and only had to add 4 tags from errors that poped up in UIErrors.txt. Let me know if I need to fix anything on it, but been rocking it for the past day and seems to be working quite well. I really hate default interface and can't play this old ass game without it.

I'll probably be playing for the next week farming plat. I need about 7 Million plat for my all access subscription for the next year. Krono's jumped to 700k ... that really sucks... last time I bought a bunch it was 250k each. Inflation is a bitch, I blame Obama.

With the mid-July patch, the Frequency UI is no longer loading. How can I find which window is causing the UI not to load or has anyone found the fix?

Thanks!

At a guess (at work at the moment) I would say the animations file needs to be edited. It does everytime SOE changes it.

If I recall rightly they are moving a lot of the item icons out of that file.

Probably just need to check the default animations file to see if the dropitem sections are removed, and if so, try removing them from the custom animations file, see what happens then (it's a place to start anyways)

Thanks. I am not familiar with XML or how things are assembled in the files. I did a search on 'drop' but no hits in either file (EQUI_Animations). Not sure what to compare between the one in the Freq directory to the Default directory. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!

try that file. Make sure you have the template file previously posted as well.

I use a modified version of this, but the file appears to me working with my copy.

I use a heavily modified version and I am afraid the buff icons and windows were one of the pieces I edited.

The windows I use is similiar to what you you see on page 1 of this thread.

old pic of my set up. I have modified some more since then, shrunk thinks up and such for more screen space. Still stuck with the small monitors =/

the buff and song windows are numbered and adjustable, with the icon in a different spot, and smaller.

If your interested in them

buff
song

Does anyone have a working version of this?

I feel naked without it... Even the target window would be awesome :)

Thank you.

Target Window

it is not exactly the same but close. It doesn't move as a window like I would like it, have to drag one side then the other, but it is adjustable.

Shows target level, con, class, distance, direction, aggro %, HoTT,secondary aggro holder and %, target buffs, ect ect. It is a modified version of Feq's =)

not sue there hoss. I loaded it alone before linking it --shrugs-- all I can say is, it works on my machine when it is the only file in the folder, or when mixed in with the other UI's I have.

It does reference the Infinity bar, but if it doesn't find it load the default, or at least always has for me.
