Outdated?

Post by NatalieH » Thu Apr 18, 2013 10:59 pm

I notice that the traffic on this board is light and most posts are very old. Is there a newer better...thing...instead of MQ2? Am I just that behind in the times?

most of the talking gets done in the VIP section. Also, MQ2 is down right now because of the patch, but it will be back up soon enough.
[quote="Lax"]Try the fucking help forum, asshole. And definitely dont post on a thread from last year.

I see. Thanks for the reply.

I was able to install and use MQ2 last week before the patch. I even started writing my own macro.

Traffic is down. A lot of the folks who were playing have moved on and there are only a hand full of active folks. As nightsta69 posted most of the traffic is in the VIP section which you can gain membership to for a small one time donation to the active dev(s). Click the home button and look for the donation area on the left.

I would love to donate. This is an amazing piece of work and i can tell lots of time and effort went into it.

Unfortunately, money is an issue. It looks like my spouse and i will have to sell/lease our house (if we can) and move in with my parents until we can get on our feet. Even $10 is painful right now. :(

It's pretty low on traffic, although as stated before the VIP section is where it's at. EQ's population in general is down, and I think mercs also cut out some of the more casual MQ'ers, since some people really only ever ran a cleric bot.

Also, the macro's and plugins in the VIP section are really mature and there really aren't that many calls for new features/bug fixes. Generally most of the chat is about configuration to existing macs/plugins.
