/Rant on...I wouldnt consider it macroing. I only use the functions I have right now to locate a yew leave, then face me towards it. the rest is up to me to run there pick it up, and try not dieing in the process. It is impossible to EVER do it the way I am doing it in some sort of AFK way. Just know way of knowing you are getting hit so you FD then stand up in a bit and continue making sure to watch out for big baddys and the such. So as for calling it a macro I dont know if you can, can you? ( Well I am sure you can, but by definition can you?) Even with the modificaiton or idea I am presenting I dont think youcould ever reach a state where people AFK macro for these things. It would just save people who use this sort of method time and agrivation of running up to the same treeover and over beacuse the leaf is stuck in a tree and the /finditem feature doesnt realize that. /Rant off. :)

He was teasing you you know. The "official" policy is no macroing for profit, and profit macros get deleted from the boards... so just put tongue in cheek, and say "no, I'm working on my tradeskills and I need the leaves..." Everyone knows the real reason, it's just impolite to state it.

OK. Sorry if I was not clear before.....I am getting the Yew Leaf for tradeskill purposes. They are used in tailoring (and thats all I know of) and that is the reason I am getting them. Simple as that right Mc? The skins are also used in the tailoring process. Right now I am outfitting a baby rogue with all Haze Panther gear and each piece requires haze panther skins and yew leaf. (My rogue is going to look pimp. :)) ) Anyways, now that we cleared up this is for tradeskill purposes I was hoping more people would be interested. Also, Mc. If you have a caster class that can Invis that will work. Or play a Monk and FD. I don't know what other classes would work in this zone, because like you saw at EQAtlas it can be quite deadly. Lets just say I have paid the price of losing lvl 52 a total of 9 times. :((

lol Oh, I'm sure a lot of people are interested, especially those that didn't know about this little trick.

The problem with macros for profit is that they disrupt the EQ economy. For example, since you posted this, the price of Yew Leaves will probably drop rapidly as the market gets flooded. That upsets players, who complain to GMs, who turn around and make things like Yew Leaves nodrop.... which makes more people mad, etc. Vicious circle.

It also makes the GMs mad, and they get the programmers to make new memcheckers, which means we have to fix MQ again... and again...
