Ive been trying to compile the melee plugin and I keep getting an error that tells me i don't have moveutils.h. I do have a moveutils.h file and as far as I can tell its up to date. Does anyone have any ideas here?
p.s. as far as i can tell upon reading through the rules it doesnt say anywhere that I can not attempt to compile plugins. It did seem a bit iffy when it came to VIP plugins but from what I can tell there was no rule against me scouring google and trying to compile it myself. Kindly correct me if I am wrong...

I'm not going to get in to a debate about licensing and whether plugins are derived code as defined by the GPL, but I will point out just because you can do something doesn't mean that the people who can support you have to support you. The header and instructions on how to use it are in the VIP forum.

In all honesty I'm not trying to be rude here, however your statement is just the sort of fuel that feeds the D.I.Y. fire that makes me want to script this stuff myself. I can either teach myself to fish or buy my dinner from you...

VIP is only like $10 and It feeds the guy making MQ2 function. Letting MQ2 function allows you to fish to feed your self.

Fishing from the bank is free but yields a small number of fish. Paying $10 for a boat that gets you a lot of fish sounds a lot better to me.

The 13.37$ I spent to get VIP was the best spent cash that I ever hath spendeth.

I highly suggest you do that aswell (10$ gets you the same if you aren't as elite as me).

There are plugins on the VIP boards, and macros, and all that, that are so amazing, and wow, and

Anyways, if anyone deserves your hard earned cash, it's these guys.

And finally:

Without VIP you most likely won't get support, but the police won't show up at your door if you compile VIP only plugins...

It is however morally questionable.

The real issue here is that paypal won't recognize my card for whatever reason. Now I can understand your bit about getting a boat, and we could go back to the whole I want to build my own. Now that being said I don't have any qualms with donating cash to this project. It is in my opinion one of the few "honest" jobs left in the world. But paypal wants to f*ck me. If anyone could come up with another way to "earn" VIP access Im down for that. However being that no one will just give me VIP for a menial task and I cant get paypal to recognize my card, then im forced to build my own boat. Im not trying to steal anyone's thunder. Im just looking to pass off some of my own ions to make my own thunder. In reality I would probably end up posting all my work here as ALL the other eq "sploit" sites have a week community and almost none of the members in these other collectives seem to be taking the time to try to be involved in the actually coding of the product. I know someone here can understand my issues. But he's probably out in space off a few of those "golden tickets"

That being said I have the utmost respect for 'acid and all you other cats who put this together for us...

I don't really have a problem helping you. I actually get a kick from seeing my (crappy) code on other sites as part of pre-compiled downloads. If someone can make a buck from stuff that I give away free, then all the power to them. However, you are asking about code that has been posted by others and they have made a request that support be handled in a specific manner. Most people here will respect that request.

pms wrote moveitem.h. Perhaps if you send him a personal message and explain your situation with PayPal and that you are trying to donate for VIP he would take pity on you and give you some pointers.

There are several ways to create a PayPal account. You can make payments by directly attaching it to your checking account if credit cards are giving you issues. There is no justification for being unable to make the effort to give $10 to people who have worked on this project for years, and keep it going despite not even playing EverQuest anymore. I posted it in VIP for that reason.
